6th – 8th Graders

“One thorn of experience is worth a whole wilderness of warning.” James Russell Lowell

Our Junior Crew program is back, and a bit different for 2022.

The road into adolescence will invariably be filled with some of the ‘thorns’ of growing up; however, after almost 2 years of hybrid learning, isolation, worries and fear, we want to help ease the monotony and shake things up for our kids. We want to equip your child with tools and knowledge to self-regulate and be able to make informed, logical decisions by giving them play-based and experiential opportunities to take appropriate risks; learn about leadership, life, and outdoor skills; and put those skills into practice in a real world setting (see a list of possible topics below). We also just want to get our Junior Crew OUTSIDE and having FUN!
