Martha's Vineyard September ReTREAT (Wed. - Sat.)

  • The island of Martha's VIneyard suggested stay at The West Chop Inn West Chop USA (map)

This sea born island

Is a salty thing

Where sea gulls mourn:

A thing of mist and fog

Where herons stand,

One legged, in the bog;

A thing of sun and sea

Where catbirds nest

In the lilac tree.

Join The Elements DC for a unique Martha’s Vineyard reTREAT. Three days to Revel and ramble in the natural beauty of this magical island while also taking time to look inward, quietly tapping into our oft-neglected spirit.  All while wallowing in the restorative energy of found awe, novelty, shared wisdom and laughter galore!

Each day, we will venture off on an Elements-curated island hike. We will meander along the trails through sun-dappled forests, wind-rippled meadows and along lichen-covered stonewalls.  We’ll balance our outdoor excursions with daily yoga, practiced under the soaring rafters of the West Chop ‘Casino’.  Our physical efforts will be complemented with opportunities to look inward: informative discussions introducing participants to self-awareness practices, including an explanation of the Enneagram  and in-depth, personalized opportunities to practice  techniques for well-being and self-awareness.

There will be plenty of unstructured time to savor the quiet and commune with friends, old and new.

Our Elements Martha’s Vineyard reTREAT will forge the connections between self and sensation; outward awe and in-sights; joy and serenity.
